90+ Recently was invited to enter a team and join in with a world cup outreach tournement

15 Teams consisting of 10 players all heard the Gospel message.

It was a great day. Football sun and the Gospel! The day started with the group stages. 90+ team consisted of 4 academy players and other prospects. 90+ team secured top spot in the group stages having narrowly lost there final game 1-0.

The tournement took a quick break. All teams were invited to enjoy the Barbeque on offer and asked to take 5 minutes to listen to guest speaker James Jaggard who shared his testimony with everyone in attendance. James shared how he had searched for so many years to fill a God shaped hole in his life. Through much of his life he engaged within a football culture, which just didnt satisfy. James then went on to share how he began a relationship with Jesus. How Jesus loved him so much he gave up his life that he might have a plan and purpose; that this plan and purpose filled this God shaped hole, and completley satisfied every inch of his needs. He went on to share that Jesus was waiting with open arms for a relationship with all of us, that simply we have to decide to turn from trying to live our life on our own, and trust and believe that God, the creator, has a greater plan and purpose for us than we can ever try and conjure up.

James concluded by asking which team they would choose. Gods team, with a perfect plan and purpose, or; The worlds team and the things that just dont satisfy or last.

Following James’s testimony the teams were asked to hang around for the knockout stages, semi and finals. 90+ came up against some good opposition however managed to score some quick succesive goals to secure there way to the final. 90+ team then went on to win the final game 4-1 to lift the trophy.
