About Us

Ninety Plus Ministries is a Christian Sports Ministry. We aim to identify then encourage, equip and disciple Christian men and women to use their gifts and passion of sport for Gods Glory. We are also a resource for the Church to show how to use sport as a tool to share the Gospel. Through creating a network and community of Sports Ministers on this website and through our Player Ministry Academy, we pray we will fuel those who know Jesus to impact those who are yet to hear the Good News.

Who’s Who?

I have been fortunate enough to see firsthand how God can use sport as a tool to share the Good News of Jesus.

I was called into Sports Ministry back in 2004 when I started work with Ambassadors in Sport. I served in various countries throughout the world including Haiti, Senegal, Zambia and Spain using Football as the tool to engage many cultures and people groups.

I played for professional clubs for a number of years and was able to use my gift as a way to engage and bring people to know Jesus.

I continued to develop as a player however God called me back to the UK with a burden for the church and its communities and so 90+ Ministries was born. I set out to see how God might use sport within our area to support the church in its engagement with their communities.

I have worked with a number of Churches across the UK, helping to develop sports ministry outreach. It is amazing to see how many people can be approached and how effective the tool of Sport can be in building relationships and sharing Christ.

Whos’s Who

Whos’s Who Image

I have always had a passion for football since I was young and God richly blessed me with the clubs and opportunities I’ve played in.

However it was not until 2006 that I began to understand that God played a massive role in my life and my love of football. I realised it was from him that I had my passion and talent in sport and that I had a responsibility to be a player minister an Ambassador for Christ. I wanted to use all my gifts to glorify God and to be salt and light both on and off the football field.

I saw football as a universal language and the potential it had to share Jesus Christ with people all around the world. I’ve seen this first hand in the UK to Africa and USA that it is a tool to break down both social and cultural barriers. Sports Ministry is an avenuve that the Church need to take seriously and apply to outreach the sports minded person.

I began to develop my own Sports Ministry training and discipleship knowledge. Working in churches and for Christians in Sport and Ambassadors allowed me the opportunity to disciple and lead others which is a real passion of mine. I feel God has given me the ability to teach and encourage those in sport.

I pray God will continue to guide Myself and James and the plans for 90+ in 2010/2011
